Poker - The Cruel Reality
Target group:
- Most poker players are poor students
- Most poker players are under 25 yrs of age
Conditions:
- Many countries with high Internet/Boadband penetrations, great markets for ruthless poker companies.
- Almost 6 month dark winter period, cold, depressing..young people gets very unsocial..start spending chunks of times infront of computer. Before young guys used to play computer games....now they turn to online poker.
- Its not just a waste of time..but also the horrible economic implications.
- Imagine a young student with no assets..with only small income like student loan..runs up considerable debt playing online poker, over hundredes & thousands of dollars. (yes in dollars or worse in Euro)
- You loose perspective of money. 100 dollars feels like nothing when you click on a online poker button..only to loose again.
Online poker (the realities)
- Even the best players wont stand a chance in poker..they all loose in the end..to poker companies.

- have you ever felt so depressed that you want to commit suicide?
- ..I bet there is not a single player who made profits playing poker in a life time. You might win a few sessions, but will loose in the long term. Reality is that they are ´plus minus zero`by now, as they will gamble away those winnings.
- Who makes the money then? The real winners are the poker companies. What a surprise!!

Poker fraud
- The whole poker sites are rigged to maximize their own profits. THE HOUSE ALWAYS WINS!
- ...he used the help of a computer expert, to help him get into his opponent’s computers. Supposedly, he used a security hole in MSN messenger to get in and get access to his opponents’ cards....found a Trojan on his computer.
- ....after looking through the play of the user Potripper, it was blatantly obvious that he could see the cards of the other players at the table. There weren’t just a few isolated questionable calls, he was making the right decision in every single hand and at the right moment every time. There’s no way around it. Watch video!
True story...a tragic end....one of many...unfortunately.
- A poker player amassed a debt of over 32 000 US dollars, playing online poker. It becomes so unberable that he commits suicide. He was only 21.
- 6 months after his death..the poker company missed his money so much that they send him 25 dollars, to cheer him up..and make him wanna play again.

Personal story:
- Yes I used to play poker. Lost around 2000 USD and wasted many hours of time. Today I dont play anymore.
- I want to help other who are stuck in this shit, to realize the facts and dangers of poker.
- If I can convince 1 person to stop poker..then this article was worth writing.
Summary:
- If you want to ´rob` your fellow poor students, never become wealthy, driving yourselves to suicide...playing a rigged game, while helping poker companies to make millions of dollars..then poker is the game.
